Samsung’s Galaxy Watch will reportedly run Tizen OS

The Verge ---------- For the past four years, Samsung’s smartwatches have been branded under the “Gear” name, but this year, it looks like the company will be opting to rebrand under the “Galaxy” line. Since 2015, the operating system for Gear watches has been Tizen, and it doesn’t look like this change in name will mean a switch to Android’s Wear OS.
