The Leopard Print Look
Prints such as leopard print, cheetah print, zebra print, tiger print and all the other animal prints that you can think of are always a huge trend on the fashion runways every season. During the fall and winter seasons when you watch runway shows or look in magazines you'll see animal print coats, sweaters, shoes, bags, jeans, blouses and so much more animal printed looks. Animal prints seem to be a huge trend during the colder months.
But I wanted to talk more about leopard printed looks because it seems to be everywhere and is available in lots of different retail stores. When I think of leopard print or really any animal print since it's usually darker tones I usually associate it with colder or cooler weather. So I would wear an animal print piece during the months of September all the way until February and probably even March since it is usually still cold.
With animal prints wearing too much of it at once can be overkill. So you don't want to overdo it by wearing animal print from head to toe, with an animal print bag. That might be just a little bit too much. Animal print tends to be a loud print on it's own. So when wearing an animal print piece for example a blouse - lets say a leopard print you might want to wear a basic black or white trouser or jean or even blue jeans or simple skirt will work. The same goes if it were the other way around. If you were wearing a leopard print bottom you would want to tone it down with a simple look when choosing what to wear as a top.
I know I said leopard prints and animal prints are great for the colder months. But I wanted to show you some leopard print looks that work well during the colder months and even look great during the spring and summer. So I pulled together some leopard print pieces that are great for right now and for the fall and early winter.
