How To Guide For: A Look At The Big Apple Announcements From Yesterday

On Thursday October 27, 2016 Apple made a few big announcements. Apple announced the new MacBook Pro. There will be two models available: the 13" MacBook Pro and the 15" MacBook Pro. So here is the breakdown: the 13" MacBook Pro - will have two versions- one will have a small touch bar and touch ID and one will have regular keys. The 13" touch bar MacBook Pro retails for $1,799 and ships in 2-3 weeks. The one without touch bar retails for $1,499. The 15" MacBook Pro with touch bar will retail at $2,399. Another huge announcement was the new version of the Apple TV. The new Apple TV will be an interactive TV guide which will sync digital catalogs and ongoing shows across all devices. A “Watch Now” pane gives curated top picks that users can browse. Once a show has been viewed, it’s added to an “Up Next” queue to make it easy to pick up where you left off with a series. You can also tell Siri to find and play a show or movie. Apple also said that users will be able to view tweets from Twitter Inc.’s platform during live events, such as football games. This is all exciting stuff. Steve Jobs would be so proud. Thanks to Tim Cook and the entire Apple team.
