More than a quarter of Americans say they’ve deleted the Facebook app from their phones

Recode -------- Let’s just say Americans’ relationship with Facebook is increasingly complicated. More than a quarter of U.S. Facebook users say they have deleted the app from their phones over the past year, according to a poll this summer by the Pew Research Center. A greater percentage, 42 percent, say they have taken a break from checking Facebook for several weeks or more. And 54 percent say they’ve adjusted their privacy settings over the past year.
