Winter season has arrived in the northern hemisphere. In NYC the winter kind of came earlier than usual. Normally in NYC we have warm Decembers and warm winters. But during the 2025 year, December has been very frigid and cold. Judging by the temperatures that we had in December 2025 in NYC it feels like 2026 will start off as a very cold year with January, February and March being very cold. This feels like the first real winter we've had in a long time in NYC and it feels really nice.

But now that we are having a real winter that means you'll need to bundle up and wear lots of layers and winter accessories. Also you'll definitely need the heattech. Heattech is one of those things that is definitely needed during the months of January, February and possibly even March in NYC. But along with heattech you'll also need a really warm hat, a big scarf that you can wrap around twice to help keep you warm and cozy and you'll definitely need really warm, thick gloves.
