The Leopard Printed Look
Leopard print is one of those looks that can be a hit or a miss. Animal prints in general can be a hit or miss. With leopard printed looks it can be a bit tricky to style it. Leopard print is irregular clusters of black markings that resemble roses, with a dark outline and a rich, tawny brown center. Leopard print is usually worn with black or cargo pieces. You can wear a leopard printed sweater with cargo pants or blue jeans or a nice plain maxi skirt with or without pleats or a brown or black satin maxi skirt.
With animal printed pieces it may not be ideal to wear the look from head to toe. But with one animal printed piece like say a leopard print for example on either the top (as a blouse/shirt) or the bottom (as jeans/trousers) then you can pair it with anything else in that color family or close enough to that color. But you can wear a leopard printed piece or any animal printed pieces with whatever you like. Leopard printed pieces used to only be brown or in the brown family shade. Now you can find leopard printed pieces in black and gray and possibly even in more colors.
If leopard print is new to you or if it something that you are trying for the first time you may want to start small. When I say start small I mean by wearing a leopard print hair ribbon, or headband or leopard printed flats or heels or a leopard printed belt. Then if you try out a leopard printed accessory and you like it then you can work your way up to maybe a leopard printed blouse and so on.
So if you like leopard printed pieces then you've come to the right place. You may already have a leopard printed piece so you don't need to go out and buy more leopard printed pieces.
