Ponchos; Capes & Wraps For The Mid Fall & Early Winter Season

Ponchos and capes and wraps are great items of clothing to have for the mid to late fall season as it begins to really cool down but it's not really cold enough that you would really need a heavy coat or jacket just yet. Ponchos, capes and wraps are transitional pieces that you would wear during the fall season (maybe more towards the end of the fall) and then into the early winter season.

Ponchos, capes and wraps are also useful during the winter season because you can wear them as layering pieces. There is no right or wrong way to wear a poncho, cape or wrap. During the fall you can wear it with flats, laofers, oxfords, trainers/sneakers, pumps and so on. During the winter you'd probably wear each look with shoe boots of all lengths from ankle boots, to mid length shoe boots to thigh high shoe boots and so on.

Since the fall is a few weeks away for people living in the Northern hemisphere I thought now might be a good time to look into having some ponchos, capes and wraps in your wardrobe. You might already have a wrap which is pretty much a very, very large scarf which you wrap around yourself. If you don't have a wrap you can look into getting a very large scarf anywhere and as it gets cold just wrap it around yourself. You could even wear a coat or a jacket and wear a wrap over that if you're still cold. But ponchos and capes may not be everyone's style.

But if you like the poncho and cape look then you've come to the right place. Below are some poncho, cape and wrap looks that you can wear during the fall (even during the beginning of the fall), and all throughout the fall and transition into the winter and probably even wear some of them all throughout the winter as layering pieces.
