A belt is a great way to accentuate your outfit and your entire look. A belt is an accessory that you can wear all year round and any day or time of the week. When shopping for belts you can find thin, skinny belts or thick chunky belts, or you can find rope style belts, belts with buckles, braided style belts, snake-effect belts, suede belts, corduroy belts, velvet belts, colorful belts, embroidered belts and so many other styles and variations of belts.

With belts you can wear it with just about anything. You can wear a belt over a fitted or chunky cardigan or sweater. You can wear a belt over a wool, cashmere and many other styles of coats or jackets. You may even be able to wear a belt over a quilted or down coat or jacket depending maybe on how many layers you have underneath. Belts are perfect when you wear jeans and trousers because they hold your pants, jeans and trousers in place.

There are so many options when it comes to belts it all depends on the individuals style and the look they are going for. For example some people when they wear jeans or trousers or any pants with belt loops or that is already really fitted and very snug on their waist they may not want to wear a belt. But others may want to wear a belt even though the jeans or trousers are very snug around their waist. Everyone is different.

For me I love belts during the fall, winter and spring season when I wear a fitted cardigan or blazer or an over-sized cardigan or blazer I will either put a thin belt over the cardigan or a blazer or a chunky belt over the cardigan or blazer. It all depends on the piece of clothing. Once you decide on the piece of clothing that you'll be wearing then you can decide whether a belt will work with it or not and which kind of belt to pair with the item.

In NYC the weather is up and down. It could be cold one day and warm the next day. But the good thing is with belts the weather doesn't matter you can wear a belt all year round. If you've had pants that don't fit probably you've probably had to buy a belt, so there is no need to go out and buy new belts. You probably have belts from prior seasons and years that are still in great condition which you can just continue to reuse now and for seasons to come. But if you don't have belts or are just to looking to add to your belt collection then you've come to the right place. Below are some belt looks worth trying out.
