A Look At Some Footwear Looks That You Can Wear Now And Transition Into The Fall & Possibly Wint

Fall/Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere will begin on Monday September 23 which is about a month away. So now is the time to start preparing to transition your footwear from summer shoes to fall footwear and then soon winter footwear.

Right now if you're wearing flats, loafers, pumps or trainers or mules or slides you can carry those footwear looks into the fall season and some into the early winter with the exception of mules and slides. Once the winter comes then you will start adding shoes boots of all lengths into your everyday look along with the other shoes you were wearing in the fall like loafers, pumps, trainers/sneakers and so on.

But for this post I wanted to only take a look at footwear that you could wear now and then transition them into the fall and winter season. In NYC the weather is changing very quickly so it's easy to start wearing footwear that you'd wear in the fall right now and possibly in the winter as well. When it comes to footwear as with everything else everyone has different taste and style. What I like and what works for me may not be what you like and so on and vice versa. The good thing with footwear as with clothes, bags and other accessories you can be as bold or as minimal as you want to be.

With fashion there are no rules. So if you see a footwear look in a magazine, or on social media or on the runway or in a boutique or department store or anywhere else you can always try it on to see if it is something you like and if it is a look that you want to spend money on. With footwear you can wear just about any footwear with just about any look either dressed up or dressed down depending on your style. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference so you should wear whatever you like and what you feel comfortable in regardless of if it's trending or not.

So if you are on the market for some new footwear you've come to the right place. If you are looking for footwear/shoes to add to your fall and winter wardrobe you've also come to the right place. Below are footwear/shoe looks that you can wear now and transition into the fall and winter season.
