T-Mobile-Sprint deal to soon get FCC approval: What you need to know
CNET -------- T-Mobile and Sprint are edging closer to consummating their $26.5 billion merger, as the Federal Communications Commission said Wednesday it'll soon vote on the deal. The linchpin of the deal is Dish Network, which will acquire Sprint's prepaid businesses and spectrum for $5 billion, as well as get access to T-Mobile's network as part of a settlement with the wireless carriers.
