The Hiking Boot Style & Combat Boot Style Shoe Trend

During the winter months as the temperatures begin to drop and drop it can get very chilly and cold. There will be times when it's so freezing cold outside and you're wearing tons of layers of clothing but still feel like you don't have enough on because you still feel so cold from the outside temperature. So you continue to wear more layers of clothing on top of layers of clothing and hopefully that works.

The same goes for footwear during the winter months. When it gets below a certain temperature you might decide that it's a good idea to put away the flats, and open back shoes and bring out all the shoe boots, booties, ankle boots and snow boots you own. If it's really cold outside your only focus will be staying warm. So if you are going to wear skinny jeans, trousers, or a dress or skirt or any other type of jeans or really anything, you may want something that protects your legs from the cold.

But if you're are not wearing shoe boots of any kind or don't have a pair, you might want to wear ankle boots or booties. When you wear any type of ankle boot or booties you might want to double up on socks to keep your feet warm especially when temperatures get in the 30s and sometimes below like it has been in NYC.

So since we are talking about shoe looks for the winter months and spring months I thought I'd take a look at the shoe looks that are available now on the market. A huge shoe trend that you will see is the hiking ankle boot with a block heel or a flat square block heel and the combat style boot with a block heel or a flat square block heel. Also another similar shoe look is the Dr Martens which you can get them in different styles with a small block heel or medium sized block heel.
