Former U.S. Senate Employee Pleads Guilty to False Statements Charge

U.S. Department of Justice press release -------- James A. Wolfe, 57, of Ellicott City, Maryland, a former staff employee of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of making a false statement to special agents of the FBI during the course of an investigation into the unlawful disclosure of classified national security information. The guilty plea was announced by Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, U.S. Attorney Jessie K. Liu for the District of Columbia, and Special Agent in Charge Timothy M. Dunham of the Counterintelligence Division of the FBI’s Washington Field Office. To learn more click on the picture below to read the release.
