A Variety Of Wool, Quilted, Parka/Down, Boucle and Houndstooth Coats and Jackets

Safi Bello

Since Fall/Autumn started in the Northern Hemisphere on Saturday September 22, 2018 it has been quite chilly. So now is definitely the time to start looking into wool coats/jackets and quilted and parka and down and houndstooth coats/jackets if you don't already have one. But the thing is when fall/autumn started it started off very cold. But now there is lots of rain and it has gotten a bit warmer and now cooler. So one day its chilly and cold and feels like fall/autumn. Then the next day it feels like spring and sometimes summer because it can be humid outside. So you never really know how to dress.

Since the weather is all over the place and fluctuating from day to day it might seem like a good idea to put off purchasing a wool, quilted or parka and or down or boucle or houndstooth coat or jacket if you don't have one. But putting it off means that when you are ready to get one for yourself you are left with limited options because everyone has already purchased most of the items and the items which you probably wanted. Also if you keep putting it off eventually before you know it we will be in the thick of winter and then you're really left with very little to choose from.

Some people love the winter months and some people hate it and prefer the summer. But I enjoy both. I love that in the winter as the temperatures drop you get to experiment with sweaters, cardigans and wool coats/jackets. During the winter months you get to layer with different pieces and try tons of new looks while layering. In the summer you can experiment more with dresses, skirts, shorts and anything along those lines. But during the winter the possibilities seem endless since it's so cold outside. During the summer you're constantly taking off clothing and during the winter you are layering up. Both seasons have their pros and cons.

But this post is to get you prepared and ready for the winter season since it is now fall/autumn and the temperatures are dropping fast. If you are on the market for some wool, quilted, parka and down and boucle and houndstooth coats and jackets then this post is for you. If you are looking to upgrade or add to your current winter outer wear then this post is for you. Below are some wool, some quilted, some parka and down and boucle and houndstooth coats and jackets to give you an idea of what's in stores and online if you are shopping for winter outer wear.
