Trending Colors From September 2018 New York Fashion Week

As I was watching some of the NYFW 2018 shows I noticed a trend which was the emergence of really bright and bold colors like lime greens, neons, hot pinks, fuchsia, reds, oranges and so on. This trend will also more than likely take over during Paris, London and Milan fashion weeks as well.

Some people might be afraid of wearing bright colors because it can put the spotlight on you and make you really stand out especially when you don't want to. But for fashion month these colors are very acceptable. During fashion month in September into early October in New York, Milan, Paris and London it is very common for people to wear outfits and looks that they wouldn't maybe normally wear in their regular day to day life.

So during fashion week is the perfect time of year to try out over the top trends and see if it works for you. Chances are someone else or quite a few people will also be trying out a new trend for the first time as well during this period. So this way you don't feel out of place.

If you can't or don't go to any fashion week shows you can try out the trending bright, loud colors on certain days. For example if you have a special occasion or are attending a major event or function going overboard might sometimes be required if there are tons of press and photographers at the event. You never know you could make it on the cover of a huge magazine or a well known fashion website.

Below are some trending colors from New York Fashion Week 2018. If you're into bright colors then this post is for you. If you've never worn any color or anything bright and are looking to try something different from your usual everyday look then this post is for you. Also for those living in the Northern Hemisphere as it gets colder and if you're like me you, you might tend to turn to wearing black all day everyday. So if you want to try something other than black every once in a while then this post is for you.
