HPE plans to invest $4 billion to develop edge computing
ZDNet -------- Hewlett Packard Enterprise said it will invest $4 billion over the next four years to develop what it calls intelligent edge devices. Edge computing is far from a mature market. The general idea is that as the Internet of things takes off, more devices will need to be able to enable analytics at the outposts of a network. In other words, what takes place in the cloud or a data center will increasingly occur at the edge of a network to reduce latency. To learn more click on the picture below to read the article.
