A Look At Some Emerging & Up-And-Coming Artists Artwork

Every year for the last few years I have been attending Frieze New York which is an art fair in which visitors get a chance to view a range of artwork, featuring the world's most exciting emerging talents together with iconic names in modern and contemporary art. Visitors attending Frieze New York also get a chance to experience a series of talks, live performances and so much more. Frieze New York takes place overlooking the East River in Randall's Island Park in Manhattan every year during the first week of May (the first few days are VIP previews) with the fair officially kicking off and opening to the public on the first Friday in May until the first Sunday in May.

Frieze New York is a pretty big deal in the art world and it has become a very popular thing that people look forward to attending every year. Frieze New York is pretty amazing. Frieze New York has about 190 exhibitors. Along with the Frieze Talk Series, panel discussions and lectures and all the other activities offered at Frieze New York it can be quite challenging to view all of the artwork on display.

Don't get me wrong Frieze New York is an amazing art fair to check out if you have never been and live in the New York area and love art. But this year I wanted to try something a bit different. I wanted to check out other smaller art fairs that happen right before or at the same time as the Frieze New York. So this year I checked out the Dumbo Open Studios art festival in DUMBO in Brooklyn, NY. Then I checked out The Other Art Fair in Greenpoint which is also in Brooklyn, NY.

While at the Dumbo Open Studios art festival and The Other Art Fair I came across some amazing artists and artwork. So I thought I'd share with you some emerging and up-and-coming artists that are out there and their art work.
