Vizio adds support for Amazon Alexa voice controls on its SmartCast TVs

The Verge ----------- Vizio owners have been able to control their SmartCast TVs with Google Home for over a year, and now the company is furthering its digital assistant integration with newly added support for Amazon Alexa. Once users have configured the new Vizio SmartCast Alexa skill, they’ll be able to turn the TV on and off using voice commands, as well as control things like volume, channel, and input.
