SpaceX just landed the 12th Falcon 9 rocket of 2017

The Verge -------- Update October 11th, 7:04PM ET: The first stage of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that was used today successfully made it to space and back. Shortly after liftoff, the rocket booster landed on one of SpaceX’s drone ships in the ocean, off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida. It marks the 12th time SpaceX has successfully landed the first stage of a Falcon 9 rocket this year, the 18th overall, and the second this week. It was also the third time that the company has successfully launched and landed a rocket that had already flown.
