Trump Signs Waiver to Keep U.S. Embassy to Israel in Tel Aviv
Bloomberg ------ President Donald Trump has decided not to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem for now, signing a memorandum that explicitly requires the diplomatic mission to remain in Tel Aviv for at least six months, two administration officials said. His decision breaks a campaign pledge to move the embassy to Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Embassy and Recognition Act, passed by Congress in 1995, requires the U.S. to move its embassy to Jerusalem.
