Recode -------- Grocery pickup is the new grocery delivery — at least for Amazon. The giant online retailer announced two grocery pickup locations in its hometown of Seattle this morning: One on First Ave South in Sodo and another on 15th Avenue Northwest in the Ballard neighborhood. Called AmazonFresh Pickup, the service is only available to members of Amazon’s $99-a-year-Prime program, who will place orders ahead of time via the company’s website or app. There are no minimums on order amounts and Amazon says orders can be ready in as little as 15 minutes. The locations are opening to employees only first. To learn more click on the picture below to read the article.
