U.S. Ethane Production, Consumption & Exports Expected To Increase Through 2018 According to Ene

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration latest Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) released on Tuesday January 17, 2017 the agency stated that the U.S. production of ethane is expected to increase from an average of 1.25 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2016 to 1.7 million b/d in 2018. Increased ethane production is expected to be consumed in the petrochemical industry domestically as well as exported to other countries.
