Yesterday Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Inc said it has bought shares in the four biggest U.S. airlines: American Airlines Group Inc, Delta Air Lines Inc, Southwest Airlines Co and United Continental Holdings Inc. This is a surprising investment considering the fact that Warren Buffet has stayed away from the airline sector for two decades. In a securities filing, Berkshire valued its Delta, American and United stakes as of Sept. 30 at $249 million, $797 million and $238 million, respectively. The airline shares are up after after the Warren Buffet Berkshire Hathaway investment.
