Wearing Organza & Silk Organza Looks
Organza is a thin, plain weave, sheer fabric traditionally made from silk. Silk organza is woven by a number of mills and it is the most expensive organza. But nowadays Organza is being made from polyester and nylon to help ease cost. The bad thing is that polyester and nylon are non-biodegradable and is not susutainable. Organza is slightly stiff and is not soft and flowy like traditional silk. But the way it is structured and falls is what makes it so great and look so beautiful. One thing to remember is that if you are going to wear silk organza you must always dry clean it.
Silk organza and organza is great to wear during the spring season and even during the summer. During the spring season you might wear a partially silk organza or organza blouse or top or dress or skirt. But during the summer season you can wear a full silk organza or full organza look because it is lightweight and thin. During the summer months you can go all out with your organza look. The downside of silk organza or any organza is say for example you put on a jeans jacket or a blazer or a cardigan over your organza blouse, or top or dress look the outwear will cause the organza piece to wrinkle.
